We are delighted to be partnering with Heartsong Ministries at their Engage ’17 Resonate worship evenings taking place in Scotland this July.
The popular event first started in Aberdeen and it returns to the Beach Ballroom for its 7th year, featuring Irish worship leader Nathan Jess. Also performing in Aberdeen will be singer Glowreeyah and amazing saxophonist, Sola Okunuga.
The event makes its exciting debut at The Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh. Performers there include: Allan McKinlay, Philippa Hanna, Eloho and Heartsong.
This year, the event theme is “Resonate” and is inspired by Revelation 14:2 and Ezekiel 10:5.
Then I heard a sound from heaven that was like a roaring flood or loud thunder or even like the music of harps. Revelation 14:2 (CEV)
Eloho Efemuai, one of the organisers of the event, explains the theme, “Just as the sound from heaven was heard, like the sound of many waters our desire is to release with our worship from heaven to Earth a sound loud as the voice of God reaching to the corners of earth that will resonate with the hearts of people spurring them to love more, to trust more, to believe more, to pray more and to chase after their dreams. Inspiring unity in our communities.”
The sound of the creatures’ wings was as loud as the voice of God All-Powerful and could even be heard in the outer courtyard. Ezekiel 10:5 (CEV)
The Engage ’17 Resonate events are free and takes place on 8 July in Edinburgh and 9 July in Aberdeen. Tickets must be booked in advance from the Heartsong website: www.engageworship.net/events
Our staff member, Norman Liddle, Community Partnership Manager, will be speaking on-stage as part of the Edinburgh event.
We anticipate two wonderful evenings of vibrant worship in God’s presence, and we are grateful for the blessing of Heartsong Ministries and their work in Scotland. Please join us in prayer and support for the many people involved in bringing this event for all to enjoy this summer.
