Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.
Colossians 4: 2-4 (NIV)
Thank you for standing with us in prayer as we seek to put the Bible into people’s hands and hearts. Like Paul, writing to the Colossian Christians, we too value your prayers for open doors for the Bible’s message. Whether that is an open door in countries where Bible distribution is limited by the authorities or whether it is the open door of someone’s life, it is only God who is able to be the door-keeper.
There is still much work to do. Many people around the world do not have access to the Scriptures in their own language. To read God’s Word and encounter Him can lead to a great transformation in their lives and affect the lives of so many others. We ask you to pray that more people will be able to read the Bible in their own language so that they can engage with God in a real and personal way.
