All together at Christmas - All-Age Service Plans

Get your whole church family exploring the Bible together this Advent and Christmas. This set of resources gives you ideas for each of the four Sundays of Advent and the first Sunday after Christmas.

Each has a different Advent theme – Hope, Peace, Joy, Love.

The first three weeks provide you with an all-age section to include in your Sunday service and two separate programmes for your children’s group and your youth group. Each exploring the same passages from Luke chapter 1.

The material for the final Sunday in Advent is a complete intergenerational service, which can work as a pop-up nativity, or be organised with a bit more preparation if you have the time. This focuses on the birth of Jesus as found in Luke chapter 2.

There is also an intergenerational service for the first week after Christmas, reflecting on the final section of Luke chapter 2 where Mary and Joseph take Jesus to the temple and meet Anna and Simeon.
